The Project:
The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 is rapidly increasing pressure on global healthcare systems and this pressure has now reached the NHS. A key challenge our healthcare workers face is supply of effective PPE to keep them well protected from the virus while treating patients.
The manufacture of as many of these face shields will become vital in the coming weeks. This is where 3P are stepping in.
3P is a company incredibly experienced in getting new products made fast, housing 60+ of the countries best med tech engineers. Based in Warwick with an array of rapid prototype facilities and a large international supply base and logistics partners, we deliver high precision equipment around the world to strict pharmaceutical and medical requirements. It is this expertise we now want to tap in to, to combat the PPE crisis the NHS is facing.
Along with our own in house 3D printing and assembly facilities, we will be calling on all our supply chain and logistics partners to manufacture or donate parts required to manufacture the face shields and get them to the NHS fast.
Along with services/products, we are looking for cash donations to support this project. Any donations will be used solely to cover the cost to manufacture and distribute these face shields, with any donations left over at the end of crisis to be sent directly to the NHS:

Detail financial tracking has been set up in the company using the same systems to track the costs on multi year, multi-million pound projects for the pharmaceutical industry.
